Hotel Bel-Ami
Hotel Bel Ami is situated on what was once the west wing of the Abbey St. Germain. Today, the street bears the name rue St Benoît, which, like Hotel Bel Ami, has undergone several previous incarnations. Originally named rue Egouts, the street provided access to the St. Germain monastery.
Directed by Grace Leo Andrieu, the project was undertaken by a design team that included Interior Designers Nathalie Battesti, Véronique Terreaux, and the architect Christian Lalande.
Designed to appeal to a younger, fashion-conscious audience, the hotel Bel Ami is decorated in subtle earth tones, projected onto a canvas of minimalist chic
The hotel makes extensive use of the finest natural materials and simple lines to create an atmosphere of pared down luxury.
Whilst the breakfast room has been entirely renovated, the slightly decadent feel and intrigue of a club is preserved. Spacious and airy, the room is brightly lit with lilac-hued walls offset by acid green leather sofas, light metal chairs, bleached wood tables and industrial-style lamps.

Located in a converted 18th Century print works on the rue Saint Benoît, the Hotel Bel Ami is an oasis of calm and tranquility in the heart of Paris' chic Left Bank. The 115 room Hotel Bel Ami opened its doors in January 2000.
Opening its doors on the dawn of a new Millennium, Hotel Bel Ami provides the latest modern conveniences and comforts for its clientele with Mme Andrieu's deft sense of style and a feel for zeitgeist immediately apparent.
Clean lines and a palette of caramel and anis green, or a variation of blue, give the rooms an air of calm, informal elegance, counter pointed by simple white marble bathrooms.
For guests staying overnight, breakfast is to look forward to. This is served buffet-style in The Cantine located in the basement, previously the venue of The Jazz Club.
Situated just off boulevard Saint Germain, Hotel Bel Ami is only a 2-minute walk from Saint-Germain Metro Station. Taxi journey time from the Gare du Nord (Eurostar) is 15 minutes, with Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports only 30-45 minutes away.
