Each village is located near the beach, swimming areas, and a communal pavilion.

The bungalows feature; wood floors, private lanai terraces, king or twin beds, writing desks, ceiling fans, baths with separate showers, mini-bars, safes, hair dryers, tea/coffee machines, international direct dial telephones and daily laundry service.

The bathrooms feature a free standing tub, seperate shower and a vanity with dual sinks.

There is also a limited room service menu and a Canoe Breakfast which is delivered to the over-water bungalows by canoe.

Bora Bora Lagoon Resort & Spa has 6 Overwater End of Pontoon Bungalows, 44 Overwater Bungalows, 3 One-Bedroom Motu Suites, 23 Motu Bungalows, 1 Two-Bedroom Villa. Each furnished in authentic local style.

The bungalows are built in the traditional "fare" style with peaked roofs thatched with Pandamus leaves. Twenty of the bungalows are air-conditioned.

The sitting areas have six-foot long couches, rattan easy chairs, hassocks and coffee tables. In the over-water bungalows, illuminated glass-top coffee tables give private views of the lagoon's marine life. Guests can slide the top back and feed the fish from the comfort of their sofa.

Dining options include fine dining in the Otemanu restaurant which is open for dinner and offers spectacular views of Mount Otemanu on Bora Bora. The Hiro Lounge and Rotopa Bar offer a more casual option for dinner. Café Fare for breakfast and lunch offers casual indoor/outdoor dining.

For a special treat request a "motu picnic". The resort will transport you to a deserted motu and while you snorkel and enjoy the solitude the crew will set up a gourmet lunch complete with; table, chairs, market umbrella, fine linens, china, and silver, all in two feet of water. The barbecue (with fresh lobster) and wine buckets are also on stands in the water. Truly a romantic and memorable picnic.

The freshwater swimming pool is an impressive 160 feet long.

For the more daring there are jeep safaris up steep mountain tracks and guided all-day hikes to the summit of Mount Pahia. The unique geography and the level of service make this a very special resort.
