Built in 1908, this grande dame of Bermuda recently underwent a $42 million dollar renovation that included an expenditure of $190,000 per room to upgrade the guestrooms.
The three Royal Suites; Caprice, Morning Glory, and Rose are two and three-bedroom cottages located on the grounds, which also include butler service. In-room amenities include data port, TV, clock/radio, safe, mini-bar, ironing board and iron, robes, toiletries, hair dryer, and umbrella. All guestrooms in the main building feature high-speed Internet connection, virtual network and visual teleconferencing capabilities, and complimentary overnight shoeshine.

The resort is a 25-minute taxi ride from the airport and a 5-minute ride to downtown Hamilton. Elbow Beach sits on 55-acres of landscaped grounds that front a mile-long private beach.

The most luxurious accommodation is: The Penthouse Suite in the main building, a 4,000-square foot, 2 level, 3-bedroom suite with an outdoor deck, and Jacuzzi. Butler service and spectacular views of the South Shore.
Café Lido, located on the grounds overlooking the beach, serves a Mediterranean menu either indoors or alfresco, and Mickey's Sand Bar located on the beach serves casual beach fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Dining options include: The Seahorse Grill, the signature restaurant, features New Bermudian Cuisine; The Library, a cozy room off the lobby with leather armchairs and a cigar room, serves cocktails, beverages, and a light menu.
There is golf at nearby courses, private mile-long pink sand beach, the usual water toys climate controlled fresh-water pool, and moped/bicycle rental on property.
