| Secluded and intimate, Hacienda is a "hideaway" guest ranch
twelve miles northwest of Santa Fe, on 336 acres, bordered by the Tesuque
Indian Reservation, Federal lands, the Horcado Ranch area, and the old Jacona
Spanish Land Grant. Situated at 6,500 feet, the site is contiguous to over
150,000 acres of open land, with panoramic views to the mountain horizon |
| Small, exclusive, in a natural and remote setting,
"Hacienda" is a single "large home" surrounding three sides of a central
courtyard; and containing only ten guest suites. |
| Whether watching the sun setting through the Great Room
windows, or marveling at the presentation of each dish, the Hacienda dining is
an event and an experience. The Hacienda Guest Book is pages of unending praise
for the chef. |
| All suites have their own satellite television, multiple
telephones (bath, bed, desk, seating area), individually controlled
air-conditioning, and at least two separate heating zones buried beneath the
tile floors. |
| The oversize baths all have huge Jacuzzi tubs, massive
natural stone counters with double sinks, separate showers, water closets and
bidets, and their own heating zone for maximum comfort. |
| The cuisine at Hacienda is special, prepared by a gourmet
Chef. All meals may be taken in the Great Room, North Loggia, West Portal, or
Courtyard Terrace. Breakfast is a full gourmet breakfast, Lunch is typically a
box lunch, and dinner is a five course menu. Upon request, you may be served in
your room or on your private patio. |
| Guests lunch on the stone terrace overlooking a
Southwestern garden, with the sound of fountains, or on their own private
patio. |
| Hacienda is a twenty minute drive from the City of Santa
Fe. Santa Fe Airport is serviced several times each day from Denver and
Phoenix. There are many flights into Albuquerque Airport, and Santa Fe is a
one-hour drive from Albuquerque. One may rent a car and drive to Hacienda, a
ranch vehicle can pick you up at the Santa Fe Airport, or the hotel can arrange
chauffeured service from Albuquerque. There is also a shuttle service from
Albuquerque to Santa Fe. |
| Santa Fe has been a cross-roads for over 400 years. Its
three cultures and its consistent sun, incredible light, and mountain air,
brought the artists who have made it a mecca for art collectors and music
lovers. Apart from the world-class Santa Fe opera, there are musical and
cultural events which fill every week of the year; and there are galleries
which have made Santa Fe the number three art market in the world. |

100 Camino del Cerezo Santa Fe, New
Mexico Reservations: 904-288-0036
| Built in the style of old New Mexico, Hacienda enlists
every modern luxury within an architecturally stunning framework of hand-carved
beams and massive doors, polished Saltillo floors, and kiva fireplaces burning
with the aroma of the native pinon. |
| Hacienda del Cerezo lies in the middle of the Santa Fe
Valley. The hotel shares a border with the Tesuque Pueblo, and the lands of
Hacienda are astride the old route followed by the Tesuques as they traveled
from the Tesuque River to the Rio Grande. Archeological sweeps identified
sites along this route, with Native American artifacts collected
along the Hacienda paths. |
| Every suite is different, but each has its own private
enclosed patio, fireplace and sitting area, king bed, six to eight foot closet
with built-in black walnut dresser
all in a large enough space that one
may stay a week-end or a week and feel comfortable. |
| Each suite was meticulously designed and situated so that
every one has a view of either the Sangre de Cristo or the Jemez Mountains.
| The Hacienda courtyard is planted with aspens, pinons, and
fruit tress (apricot, cherry, plum and apple); as well as a multitude of
flowering shrubs and annuals. Through arched openings are sweeping views of the
Jemez mountains on the far side of the Rio Grande River. |
| Candlelight dinners in the Great Room. Picture perfect
views of the sun setting over the distant Jemez Mountains, with strains of
classical guitar reverberating from the ceiling's 100-year old beams, create
unforgettable evenings. |
| Unusual for such a culturally rich city, one can access the
vistas and emptiness of the high mountain desert within a few miles of the St.
Francis Cathedral and the downtown plaza. |
| The guest ranch includes its own stable for horseback
riding, swimming pool (with outdoor spa and lap pool), and tennis court. |
