| Luxury in the heart of the Canadian wilderness. Moored in
the shelter of Barnard Harbour on Princess Royal Island, King Pacific Lodge is
quite simply the most luxurious wilderness lodge ever built. Designed for
absolute comfort. Positioned to capture spectacular views of the landscape. A
remarkably civilized place in the midst of absolute wilderness. Enviable.
Extraordinary. And, very exclusive. |
|
|
| The lodge, open from May to October, offers one-of-a-kind
wilderness experience packages for its guests to enjoy that include fly-in
fishing, kayaking, spa treatments, and more. |
|
|
| Seventeen oversized accommodations await guests. Each
spacious room features a king-size bed with luxurious down duvets, a
comfortable window-side seating area, and a slate-lined bathroom with a deep
soaker-tub. Choose between wilderness or ocean views. |
|
|
| Glide silently under ancient cedar boughs, along cliff
faces and into silent coves. See wildlife and marine creatures up close and
enjoy a gentle paddle in Barnard Harbour. |
|
|
| The lodge is set amongst the best fly-fishing streams and
rivers on the west coast. Fly out via helicopter for spectacular trout fishing
in May and June or catch Coho Salmon on a fly later in the season. |

| A labor of love and the ultimate in comfort and beauty,
King Pacific Lodge is crafted from massive timber, native stone and premium
materials. Edge-cut fir. Natural slate floors. Splendid wrought-iron fixtures.
Custom-designed furniture. And, intricate wood craftsmanship throughout. |
|
|

chairs & leather sofas. |
|
|
| Fortify your adventurous spirit with dining as sensational
as these wilds. The executive chef at King Pacific Lodge deftly evolves
culinary creations from traditional native recipes and seasonal sources of
local delicacies. Feast from fresh sheets listing bounties of the sea, harvests
from the forest and yields from this mornings cull of wild berries and
mushrooms. Sit before a place setting that mirrors the verdant greens and
mountainous proportions you see out the windows. |
|
|
| Northern British Columbia is one of the last corners of the
world to offer absolute wilderness. The Great Bear Rainforest is the largest
intact temperate rainforest left on Earth. It is home to many diverse and
unique species of animals including the Spirit Bear, the elusive rainforest
wolf, pods of Orca whales and numerous bald eagles. |
|
|
| The setting for King Pacific Lodge is unspoiled nature as
far as the eye can see. Range after range of mountains. Virgin forests,
mountain streams, clear lakes, pristine coast. The air is clear and pure. It's
like being present on the morning of creation. |
