the merit goes to Jean-Paul Getty for its restoration and the renewal of the
17th Century splendor of La Posta Vecchia, and for having enriched it's being

Da Vinci" - Fiumicino (Rome); 35 minutes from the center of Rome and 30 minutes
from the port of Civitavecchia (Rome). |

with its own individual style and furnished with art treasures collected from

| The Getty Suite is a large bedroom with living area, fire
place and a 17th Century oak desk. All furnished in 17th Century Italian Style.

| The main dining table plus two smaller tables are of rare
antique yellow marble. Two 17th Century consoles plus large windows draped in
fortuny silk complete the decor for the Dining Room. The view is over the sea
on the west side and garden on the east side of the room. |

| Surrounded by a vast park, La Posta Vecchia is filled with
archaeological testimonies of Imperial Rome. |

| Every detail of the villa remains exactly as Getty left it,
every piece of furniture, sculpture and work of art cared for with the same
scrupulous attention as that which the villa's previous owner had lavished on
his collections. |

| Furnishings, paintings and tapestries, every piece at La
Posta Vecchia is a work of art: from the inestimable Roman ceramics, to the
precious paintings; from the French tapestries (inspired by Raffaello designs),
to the elegantly Fortuny draped Restaurant. |

| The Medici Suite is a large bedroom furnished in 17th
Century Spanish style. There is a separate sitting room displaying a collection
of Meissen plates with beautiful wood panelling. |

| The Getty Suite dressing room has a white Carrara marble
bathroom with a view from all five windows overlooking the sea. |
|
|
| In this lounge you find the bar furnished with a large 17th
century consolle plus Venetian mirrors. |
|
|
| The ground floor is a labyrinth of halls and lounges where
one may relax, reflect and study, or maybe take a swim in the pool surrounded
by harmonious arches framing the magnificent view of the Tyrrhenean Sea. |
