This Rosewood Hotel resort opened in 1997, and is typical of the luxurious resorts run by this first class hotel group. Located in Cabo Real on a great beach overlooking the Sea of Cortez, Las Ventanas has sixty-one suites.

Expansive and richly appointed, all suites have marble showers, traditional Conchuela limestone floors, and more than 1,000 square feet of space. All suites have woodburning fireplaces, and all but four have ocean views.

The ocean directly fronting the hotel is not swimmable. However, swimming and scuba/snorkeling is a short, 10 minute drive to the other side of the island.

A wonderful new ceviche bar has been added, which celebrates the bounty of the sea by serving an array of ceviche complemented by nearly 100 of Mexico's most exclusive, aged tequila selections.

The hotel staff offers guests a variety of special poolside amenities including CD players (and a choice of CDs), a selection of books, sorbets served in chocolate cups, chilled mineral water, spritzers and cold towels.

Las Ventanas al Paraiso now has championship tennis courts and, to ensure that playing at Las Ventanas is an exceptional experience for guests, a world-class tennis program. At the time of booking, a 2-night minimum deposit (plus local tax) is required to confirm daily rate reservations and a deposit of $1000 is required for all packages. For Christmas/New Years season, a 3-night deposit and full payment 90 days prior to arrrival is required. Full refund is given if cancellation is received 90 days prior to arrival; a non-refundable cancellation penalty equal to a 3-night room charge is assessed on cancellations 90 to 60 days prior to arrival; and, cancellations received within 60 days of arrival are subject to full forfeiture. Any departure prior to the pre-scheduled departure date will result in a penalty for the full stay. Additional restrictions may apply throughout the year. Policies are subject to change.
