La Valencia
The historic La Valencia Hotel sits in the middle of downtown La Jolla, within walking distance of the elegant galleries, antique and jewelry shops and outstanding restaurants and cafes of the village.

The Mediterranean Room and Tropical Patio serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The Mediterranean Room offers a warm and cozy ambiance with a sweeping view of the Pacific.
Open nightly for dinner, the romantic Sky Room transports one back to an era of fine service and distinctive French cuisine. Located on the 10th floor of the hotel and offering the ultimate in privacy, The Sky Room features only 12 booths and tables, each with a 180-degree view of the Pacific.
Play tennis at La Valencia's "sister" property, Rancho Valencia Resort located 25 minutes from the hotel. Named "One of the Top Ten Tennis Resorts in North America" by Tennis Magazine, Rancho Valencia offers day tennis packages, ½ day clinics and lessons to La Valencia guests. Once inside, "the lady of La Jolla" offers spectacular views of La Jolla Cove. Cozy terraces, patios and gardens offer corners for a private rendezvous. Below the hotel, on a bluff overlooking the beach and Pacific, is Ellen Browning Scripps Park, popular for picnics, strolling, jogging and fantastic sunset views.

La Valencia Hotel is near many fine golf courses. The hotel will be happy to assist in making reservations for a round at one of the nearby world-class courses. The closest public course is Torrey Pines Golf Course, host of the Buick Invitational, Located 10 minutes from the hotel. Tee times are available with a one week advance notice. In addition, San Diego offers many other wonderful courses with outstanding facilities and play for every level of golfer.
