Mountain Sky Guest Ranch
Mountain Sky is a great vacation spot...a 4-Diamond, AAA-rated resort, nestled high in the Rocky Mountains and only 30 miles from the north entrance of Yellowstone Park.
The ranch has twenty-seven cabins that can accommodate forty individual guests and groups up to seventy. The refurbished rustic bedroom cabins date back to the 30's when the ranch opened its doors to its first customers.
Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices at Mountain Sky. You may choose a light breakfast consisting of freshly baked pastries and muffins with luscious fruits, or we also offer such items as fluffy omelets, blueberry crepes, fresh trout, and eggs benedict. After breakfast, experienced wranglers will have your horse saddled and ready to take you on some of the most beautiful terrain you have ever imagined.
Lunchtime offers a casual meal served outside buffet style. Always included in the luncheon selection are a variety of green and pasta salads, homemade soups, fresh berries and melons, ethnic dishes ranging from enchiladas to Chinese stir-fry or Italian pizza, along with other Mountain Sky specialties. And if you have a sweet tooth, the ranch makes their desserts fresh daily.
After dinner you may choose to take part in some of the activities which include...Western dance instruction, volleyball and softball games and a variety of musical entertainment in the main lodge. A typical week will include a folk concert, piano music in the main lodge and dancing after dinner to the music of a local combo.
