| The Marbles Suite: An antique pine king bed, and a
watercolor of koi fish give character and style to this very private room
overlooking the courtyard. This room features a large separate sitting area
with a fireplace, comfortable chairs, and a spa tub for two looking onto the
hill and woods behind the Inn. A collection of antique marbles, memories from
your past, is displayed for your enjoyment. Rate $295-$320. |

| The Ivory Room...The sun streams warmth into this
room with a fireplace and sitting area which looks to the south with
Occidental's Community church and steeple etched against the horizon of
California redwoods. Antique beds from the Innkeeper's grandparents are now
reconfigured into a king bed. Displayed is a collection of uniquely wonderful
and dramatic antique ivory netsuke carvings used by the Japanese as toggles to
hold their monies and other valuables when they wore the traditional kimono.

| The Tiffany Room: A beautiful and elegant suite
surrounding the front of the Inn with gracious views of gardens and the
redwoods from every window. A canopied four-poster mahogany Charleston queen
bed faces an antique woodburning fireplace. The private and sunny balcony with
table, chairs and chaise lounges has a commanding view of the village Community

| The Cut Glass Room: This sunny room with french
doors leading to its own garden, patio, and private hot tub is furnished with a
California king bed. In addition to a collection of contemporary photographs,
the Innkeeper's collection of antique English and Irish cut glass jars, dating
back to the 1860's, has been placed in cabinets designed to emphasize their

| The Kitchen Cupboard Room: Remember Grandma's
cupboard? Well, here you have all those memories surrounding a suite of antique
walnut furniture, queen bed, a fireplace, two overstuffed chairs, the spa tub,
and the deck. Accessories include a shadowbox with a treasure-trove of things
from the kitchen you knew as a child, framed bone handled carving sets, and an

| The Safari Room: An Innkeeper's high-posted, queen
bed keeps the animals painted on the wall at bay. Others stare from behind
bronze bank teller grills, an end table of leather suitcases, doorstop lamps -

courtyard; inside the room enjoy the fireplace and sitting area, as well as the

| The Folk Art Room: A queen bed and antique pine
furniture, a child's quilt and chairs from another time, croquet wickets in the
form of jockeys, a sun and moon carving, and other accessories capturing the
creative energies of our country make this a fun room in which to stay. Sit on
your deck and listen at night to the fountain in the courtyard below; splash in
your own spa tub, relax in comfortable chairs and warm your feet in front of

| The Carnival Room: Welcome to a guest room with a
king headboard - an architectural statement of an old screen door - walls with
clowns' costumes, mannequin standing lamps costumed from a generation gone by,
crochet dress hangars, shoe trees, and a great deal of imagination - all for
you to enjoy. This room has fireplace, sitting area, spa tub for two, and a

| Bodega Bay & Bodega Head: Whale-watching, sportfishing,
and surfing are popular sports along the coast. Camping, horseback riding,
hiking, and beachcombing are exhilarating experiences as well. An 18-hole
links-style golf course, shops, restaurants, and the University of California
Marine Laboratory are other attractions. Continuing south to the village of
Bodega, you will find the quaint St. Theresa's church and schoolhouse of Alfred
Hitchcock's classic movie, "The Birds". Returning to The Inn along Joy Road,
you climb from sea level through towering redwoods to The Inn. |

from the Pennsylvania quilt of the first quarter of the 20th century, a
wonderful painting of giraffes romantically inclined. This room has a large
Jacuzzi spa for two, and a fireplace. Designed to catch the early morning
light, this sunny room contains a queen pine bed, overstuffed lounge chairs,
and unique lamps, all accented by a palette of colors to complement an antique
quilt and whimsical accessories. A lovely view of the village can be enjoyed

| The Sugar Room...Furnished with a king-sized antique
pine bed, this beautiful garden room has a fireplace and a very large bathroom.
A sliding glass door opens to a private patio and entry into the courtyard.
This room is equipped to accommodate the physically challenged. A wonderful
collection of pattern glass made in the 19th century to hold the coarsely
ground sugar available in that era is on display. Rate $195-$225. |

gardens, and fountain is this charming room with a queen bed and a separate
sitting area with corner fireplace, comfortable chairs, and a spa tub for two.
A collection of Sandwich glass tiebacks from the 18th century, once used to
hold back the heavy curtains that kept out drafts at night, enhances the color

English Cottage garden courtyard with its bubbling fountain. The delicate

the headboard for the king bed. Wicker furniture from our Grandmother's home at
the beach, green shutters framing a wickedly whimsical painting of a distant

mantle and walls bringing back fond memories of summer. Soak in the spa tub for
two, bask in the warmth of the fireplace, relax on your own deck and watch the

| When you wake in the morning, you'll find freshly brewed
coffee and a variety of teas available in the living room and in the Wine
Cellar dining room. The Inn prides itself on its coffee. The coffee, called
Jack's Blend, is ground with each new pot; it's available at 7 each morning in
the living and dining rooms with the local and San Francisco newspapers; on
Sundays, the New York Times is also available. |

| Winery Tours and Tasting: The Russian River "Wine Road"
begins a few miles from The Inn and meanders through the Russian River Valley
with its many microclimates and six grape growing appellations. Chardonnay and
Pinot Noir grown in the cooler Russian River region are exceptional. The Green
Valley, Chalk Hill, Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley, Knights Valley, and
Russian River Valley encompass about 26,000 acres of grapes producing world
class wines. The area is also rich in produce from organic farms. |
