| A tranquil haven located on a private, 113-acre Caribbean
Island, south of St. Vincent in the Grenadines. |
| Twenty-two cottages offer spacious accommodations featuring
comfort, native beauty in architecture, and seclusion. The cottages are
scattered all over the island with some on hillsides, a few built into the
clifts, and some on the beach. |
| The cottages are solidly built of native bluebitch stone,
which was quarried from the island during construction. |
| One of the unique things about this resort is you cannot
call room service. There are no telephones in the cottages to disturb the
tranquility. There is, however, a bamboo flagpole outside each cottage which is
used to call for room service, or to signal the staff that you request privacy.
For total privacy, raise the red flag, which alerts the staff not to intrude.
| The pavillion also houses an open-air bar lounge which is
frequented by guests and the occasional yachties that may be sailing by. |
| Other activities include scenic hikes, a 20-station fitness
trail, and tennis. The casual atmosphere and privacy of this secluded resort
contribute to the enduring success of this Caribbean Island hideaway. |

| This is seclusion at its best. This small privately owned
island is the resort. A real hideaway with all the advantages of a remote
location plus the advantages of great food, great hosts, and terrific service.
| Each stone cottage has a separate living room, a master
bedroom, a bath/dressing area, and a patio; all with views and charm befitting
its location. |
| Meals (featuring local fresh fish/seafood, and produce) are
served in the pavillion overlooking the harbor, the beach (if so desired), or
in the privacy of your cottage. Most guests prefer breakfast and afternoon tea
in their cottage. To have meals served in your cottage, or on the beach, you
need only let room service know. |
| Hoist the yellow flag to request room service, and a staff
member will arrive to take your order which will be delivered via a moke. |
| Water sports available include snorkeling, windsurfing,
Sunfish/Hobie Cat Sailing and swimming. Deep-sea fishing and water-skiing can
be arranged, as well as scuba diving. |
| The charming and ever-popular Haze Richardson is the
owner/manager. St. Vincent is reached via Barbados, then a charter flight to
nearby Union Island where you will be met by Petit St. Vincent's motor yacht, a
42-foot Grand Banks for a short run to Petit St. Vincent. |
