| Perched atop the cliffs of Big Sur, the Post Ranch Inn
provides the ultimate getaway experience for travelers wanting to take in the
beauty of the Big Sur coast and all that nature has to offer. |
|
|
| Each of the thirty rooms has a king-size bed, fireplace,
pullout massage table, and indoor spa tub. Robes, hair dryer, coffee maker,
walking sticks, and a refrigerator stocked with complimentary snacks and
non-alcoholic beverages are also provided. |
|
|
| Our favorite accommodations are the Ocean Houses. These
single standing structures have a curved beamed roof covered with a soft carpet
of grass and wildflowers. |
|
|
| Post Ranch considers themselves stewards for your cabin and
land on the Big Sur coast and they hope to provide a link, a connection and a
taste of the culture that has led writers, artists, and lovers of beauty to the
area for years. The Inn is committed to providing a set setting that will
facilitate a means for you to commune with nature, awaken the senses, relax
into the moment, and appreciate the sheer wonder of existence. In short, to
hopefully create a space for a transformative experience that will become a
permanent part of your life. |
|
|
| Post Ranch Inn offers the most luxurious spa treatments to
help ease away tension, relax muscles, and pamper you in every way possible.
Indulge yourself with a massage on your private deck in your room... by
yourself or with your partner. Relax with a facial using the finest
aromatherapy and natural botanicals. Enjoy an early-morning yoga class with a
private instructor in the yurt perched beneath the Ventana Mountains. Or, warm
up while in the sun at the basking pool. |

|
| Long known for its dramatic coastline and rugged beauty,
Big Sur has historically drawn people searching for new horizons and communion
with the elements. |

|
| Though Post Ranch does not pretend to offer a quick fix for
stress and burnout, as they share the magical and timeless realities of Big
Sur, they find that when guests leave (often reluctantly) they repeatedly tell
the Inn they feel emotionally and physically restored. |

is set among the ridges of the rolling Ventana Mountains at the edge of the
Pacific Ocean. |
