| The Simpson House Inn is secluded in an acre of English
gardens, yet only a five-minute walk from Santa Barbara's restaurants,
theaters, museums and shops. |
|
|
| Lovingly restored by the Davies family, the estate retains
the integrity of its heritage. Mature oaks, magnolias, fountains and numerous
sitting areas dot the expansive lawns. This historic landmark Victorian estate
is considered one of the most distinguished homes of its era in Southern
California. |

with the luxury of the new. The Weathervane and Hayloft Rooms, upstairs, and
Tack Room and Carriage Rooms, downstairs, feature antique pine floors and
Oriental rugs. French doors open onto private decks overlooking the gardens.
Each suite has a king bed, a loveseat by the wood-burning fireplace and antique

restored 1878 barn and three garden cottages. The 15 rooms, suites and cottages
feature generous amenities, warm inviting décor and furnishings,
complemented by hallmark service. |

| The Abbeywood, Greenwich and Plumstead cottages
have been crafted to reflect the luxurious elegance. Each one opens onto a
private intimate fountain courtyard where you can linger over breakfast. The
cottages also feature antique canopied queen featherbeds, loveseats by wood
burning fireplaces, and an in-room Jacuzzi tub for luxuriating. Teak hardwood
floors complement the Oriental rugs and antique furniture. |
