Strait Jacket
This stunning 111' foot vessel, with interiors designed by Patrick Knowles and Ruth Merritt, took three-and-a-half years to construct. This kept the vessel in the build process longer than any other Broward motor yacht. The attention to detail is noted by its hand-crafted, fine bird's eye maple woodwork, black uba tuba granite tops and artistic interiors done in soothing earth tones and neutrals.
With a veteran captain at the helm, Strait Jacket is staffed with a highly experienced group of yachting professionals. The latest in state-of-the art communications and navigational equipment fills out the pilot house allowing you a smooth and safe passage during your getaway vacation.
The VIP stateroom is multi-level for added architectural appeal and features a bird's eye maple desk with Strait Jacket stationary.
Each guest stateroom contains a double bed as well as a twin for accommodating either two or three guests in complete comfort. Full VCR/VHS capability is enjoyed by all in the guest staterooms.
Strait Jacket abounds in tasteful accoutrements that add to your comfort and enjoyment including a nightly turn-down service where a tray laden with gold foiled, designer chocolates and bottled or sparkling water is placed on your bed. Plush, monogrammed towels and a full line of salon-style products are in each bath to pamper you. There's no doubt that attention to detail is of paramount importance.
Enjoy dining indoors in the galley where granite countertops and a leather settee provide a casual yet elegant spot for eight guests. Dessert is complemented by hot espresso or cappuccino made in the yacht's restaurant-style espresso machine.
A retreat up to the flybridge reveals an adjustable cocktail-to-dinner height table with a comfortable settee that accommodates an intimate party of four. A walk around the full bar reveals an exquisite, etched, stainless steel mural of a coral reef commissioned by renowned artist Kurtz Mann. The ambiance is further enhanced by a unique hydraulic roof that opens up to reveal either bright sunshine or a romantic, moonlit sky. Relax in a six-person Jacuzzi while enjoying a rum runner from the frozen cocktail machine and watch as fiber optic lighting on a custom color wheel modulates to suit any mood.
For the deep sea fishing enthusiast, Strait Jacket has a complete set of twelve Penn International 80, 50 and 30 offshore rods to prepare you for an unforgettable angling experience. Located in the cockpit is a full-size grill, Eskimo ice chipper, and a deep freezer for chilling the day's catch.
