Once the haunt of pirates and slave traders, the town of Negril has in more recent times become a boomtown of Jamaican tourism. Blessed with seven miles of pure white sand beaches, which segue into the honeycomb cliffs, protected by offshore reefs, it is a destination for sun, sea and scuba enthusiasts from around the world.

An arrangement of coral stairs and walkways lead to sun decks and grottos. Guests can cliff dive from various heights, or even climb down (pool-type) ladders into the sea for swimming. The Caves rests on the westernmost tip of Jamaica in Negril (about 90 minutes from Montego Bay Airport and 15 minutes from the Negril air strip).
