| A small, relaxed resort on a private island, near the Toberua
Passage in the Fiji Islands. This little atoll is approximately four
acres at high tide, and twice a day, at low tide, the island gets
five times larger, as it gains 16 acres. |
|
|
| Accommodations are limited to fourteen, traditional bures, each
with ensuite bath, large bedroom, and spacious sitting area. All of
the bures are located right at the edge of the water, and are
furnished with very comfortable, colorful Fijian weavings and
furniture. |
|
|
| Local fishermen supply the resort with the main ingredients for
the mix of international and local cuisine, which is primarily fresh
seafood. |
|
|
| A large array of colorful coral, fish, and shells make for
excellent underwater photography as our diving is recognized as some
of the best in Fiji. |
|
|
| Snorkeling trips to the Toberua Passage are daily and
snorkeling from the island is good at any time. Masks, flippers, and
snorkels are all available for no charge from the marina bure on the
beach. |
