Valadier"s early works a famous architect, who, at end of 1700"s designed the splendid square "Piazza del Popolo" in Rome, appears in all its beauty at the end of the long tree lined road leading to the villa. Situated at about 10 kms from the magical town of Spoleto, the splendid renaissance style of the property is also found in the garden with its two stylish symmetrical canopies in wrought iron situated in front of the facade of the villa. The property surrounded by 15 hectares of olive groves, rests on a hill that dominates the landscape with a 360 view, from where Assisi and Spoleto are seen in the distance.

The pool which is about 60 metres from the villa, enjoys a panoramic view of the countryside and is set within the verdant olive groves. The pool is for the use of the guests staying at the villa, and also for the owners when they are at the property and the guests of a small cottage situated about 100 metres from the villa tucked away in the park area. To have total privacy, a request can also be made to the owner to have sole use of the pool exclusively for the guests staying at Villa Pianciani, and the attached apartment will not be occupied. Between the villa and the pool there is a small chapel, which completes the charming and unique style of this gorgeous property.

The villa composed of the main house, correspondent to the facade, has an independent entrance, a front garden and a private internal courtyard, which is furnished for eating outdoors. At the back and adjacent to the villa there is another smaller apartment which is the occasional residence of the owners.

All the bedrooms have picture-book views of the landscape from the windows, and are furnished in the early twentieth century style. Particularly original is the layout of some bathrooms, newly renovated, painted with lively pastel colours.

Booking Conditions: If the property requested is available, we will send you an Invoice, together with a Booking Form by fax or e-mail that you must complete, sign and return with the payment of the 30% deposit within five working days of your reservation if you are booking more than eight weeks (53 days) from the rental date. If you are booking within eight weeks from the rental date we must receive your booking form, completed and signed with the payment within two days of your reservation. The balance of charges is payable no later than 8 weeks before your arrival date. The normal minimum rental period is one week, Saturday to Saturday.
