The Vale O pavilion is tastefully decorated with Far Eastern objects d'art, old books, and custom bamboo and rattan furnishings. A covered walkway leads to the guest pavilion, with two spacious bedrooms and ensuite baths, also tastefully decorated. Getting There...Wakaya Island is approximately 45 minutes each way by air from Nadi International Airport. Round trip airfare from Nadi to Wakaya is $830 per couple. Air travel time between Nausori Airport and Wakaya Island is 20 minutes each way. Round trip airfare from Nausori to Wakaya is $415 per couple. Air transfers from other islands within Fiji are available.

Enjoy an experience attuned to the rhythms of the island and the traditions of the Fijian people. While a Fijian warrior sounds a triumphal note on the conch shell, a party of Fijian warriors in full regalia carries the bride to meet her groom at the wedding site. The ceremony is conducted in the Village Church or on the beach by a local Fijian Methodist minister or a local Justice of the Peace; the marriage is recognized internationally. The all-inclusive rate is $3,500.

2004 Daily Double Occupancy Rates: Rates include all meals and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), unlimited use of the fully stocked mini-bar, daily laundry service, two scuba tank dives per person per day, and unlimited use of all other sporting facilities and equipment including golf, tennis, snorkeling, handline fishing and professional croquet. Garden View bure $1,800. Ocean View bure $2,100. Governor's bure $2,400. Vale O ...$6,500. A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation Policy...payments less $500 per bure or $1,500 for Vale O will be refunded if cancellation is received 60 days or more prior to arrival. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival are subject to full forfeiture of all monies received. The Wakaya Club has a minimum stay requirement of five days, but a longer stay is recommended so that you may fully experience the resort and everything the island has to offer. A ten-night minimum is required during the Christmas/new Year's Holiday period. The Wakaya Club is designed as an adult resort. All persons over the age of 16 years are welcome. A 12.5% Fijian government VAT is applied to all services including accommodations, air transfers and resort purchases.
