| The three story weathered cedar building has been designed
to complement the natural beauty of its surroundings. The first thing you
notice as you enter every one of the 46 spacious guest rooms is the magnificent
ocean view revealed by floor to ceiling picture windows. Step out onto your
private balcony, breathe in the fresh salt air, listen to the waves crash on
the rocks below, and you know you have arrived on nature's edge. |
|
|
|
As you explore your room, you discover that every need has
been anticipated... a personal refrigerator, CD clock radio, microwave, coffee
maker, as well as a large screen television in the armoire, and a down duvet on
the king or queen-sized bed. Dual telephone lines with high-speed data
capability allow you to talk on the telephone while sending a fax or surfing
the Internet. In keeping with the Inn's commitment to the environment, the
furniture has been fashioned from recycled old growth fir, western red cedar,
and driftwood. The textures found in nature are reflected in the wool sisal
carpet, natural stone tile, and rough hewn cedar mantlepiece. |
|
|
| There is cedar post and beam construction in the Pointe
Restaurant, soaring 20 foot ceilings, a circular wood burning fireplace with
hammered copper hood and chimney, and state-of-the-art sound and lighting.
Unique table settings and welcoming service set the stage to experience the
truly innovative creations of Chef de Cuisine Rodney J. Butters. Menus showcase
fresh coastal seafood, Vancouver Island's farm fresh ingredients, and an
excellent selection of Pacific Northwest wines. |
